The Accommodation Booking Service (ABS) provides a facility for groups hosting a conference in the city.
The Visitor Information team can take care of accommodation requirements for conferences ranging from 12 - 3,000+ delegates. The ABS team is able to secure competitively priced room allocations from a selection of member hotels in advance of when rooms are publicly made available. Delegates can book online or via tailor-made reservation forms. Rooms are allocated to delegates according to price, style and location preferences.
For larger conferences, members of the ABS team have even been on site throughout the first day to help delegates with hotel information. The ABS unique service differs to other such facilities as last minute cancellations are permitted.
