As the Labour Party Annual conference comes to an end the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, has praised the event as a huge success for the party, delegates and for Manchester.

Manchester is looking forward to hosting the Labour Party Annual Conference 2008, building on the resounding success of the party's 2006 conference at Manchester Central Convention Complex.
